Our position

Kitsuya respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the platform to do the same. Kitsuya does not host video or audio files on its own servers. Catalog metadata and playback sources are aggregated from third-party providers that are configured by the operators of this installation.

Filing a takedown notice

If you are a copyright owner (or an authorized agent) and believe content accessible via Kitsuya infringes your rights, please send a written notice including all of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  3. The exact URL(s) on kitsuya.site of the material to be removed.
  4. Your full name, address, telephone number and email address.
  5. A statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Where to send it

Submit notices through our contact form with the subject "DMCA Takedown", or by email to the address configured for this installation. Incomplete notices may delay processing.

What we will do

Upon receiving a valid notice we will remove or disable access to the identified material, update or delist the affected title from the catalog and sitemap, and document the action in our audit log. Repeat violations from a given source provider result in that provider being disabled.

Counter-notice

If you believe material was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice with the same identification requirements above, plus a statement consenting to jurisdiction of the courts in your district. We will forward valid counter-notices to the original complainant.
